March 2008
Nick (Meisterhaus Backstreet Boy) wins the breed over Best in Show and Top 10 competition, under Patricia Trotter, from the Bred By Exhibitor Class at the Louisville Cluster of Dog Shows


Joe Lee (MBISS Ch. Meisterhaus Valiant Joe Lee) wins the breed at the same cluster of shows on Sunday, Louisville Kennel Club.  Joe Lee was handled by Mr. Steve Berry, Escapade Basenjis.


Ally (Meisterhaus Airtight Alibi) wins a major at the Louisville Kennel Club show, handled by Mr. Lou DiBello.

April 2008
I went to Oregon for the American Whippet Club National Specialty.  Kate (Ableaim Kiss Me Kate) was third in the Bred By Exhibitor Class, which was a great honor under Mrs. Cindy Scott.  I then showed Ella for Best of Breed and won the Whippet National.  This is a National and a memory that I will always hold dear and fondly. 


Joe Lee (MBISS Ch. Meisterhaus Valiant Joe Lee) wins the North Georgia Hound Association Basenji Specialty for the 2nd year in a row.  In 2007, Joe Lee won it from the classes over many of the countries top Basenjis.  This year, he did it again, as a special.  Thank you to owners/friends Carol & Roland Terrell and Joe Lee's handler and friend, Mr. Steve Berry (Escapade Basenjis).

May 2008
Nick (Ch. Meisterhaus Backstreet Boy) is awarded Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Cincinnati Basenji Club Specialty on Friday, to finish his Championship.  Then on Saturday at the new Cincinnati Basenji Club Specialty, Nick is considered for Best of Breed against his kennel mate, Neo.  Thank you to judge Ms. Shelley Hennessey.

Neo wins his first specialty and is now BISS Ch. Tamsala Hot Onya Heels.  It was a great honor to have the only two dogs considered for Best of Breed, to be from our kennel.  Thank you to judge Mrs. Carol Spritzer.  Thank you to our friend Tim Huff for showing Neo at this specialty.  What a great team you made!!

The following day, of the same weekend, Jax (Top 10 Ch. Victory Meisterhaus Hit The Lights) won Best of Breed and then was awarded a Group IV, as well.  Way to go Tim Huff (Jax's Co-Owner and handler).
 

May 11, 2008
Morgan, from Reese’s (Ch. Meisterhaus Goldie Hawnd) 2nd litter wins big by going Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and then on to a Group 2 for a 3 point major, owner/handled by Deana McNamer DVM.  Way to go Deana and Morgan.

 

May 25, 2008:

Kate (Ableaim Kiss Me Kate) goes Winners Bitch for a 3 point major under breeder/judge Mr. David Samuelson at the Cincinnati Kennel Club. 

 

June 19, 2008:
Kenny finished his AKC Field Championship/Dual Championship on!!!  He is the first Dual Champion from the Reese (Ch. Meisterhaus Goldie Hawnd) X Russell (Ch. Red Cloud Quintessence) Litter.  Way to go Chuck Boyd, handler!!

July 20, 2008:
Kate (Ableaim Kiss Me Kate)  wins is awarded another major, under Mrs. Carol O’Bryant at the Owensboro River City Kennel Club.

July 27, 2008:    Morgan, from Reese's (Ch. Meisterhaus Goldie Hawnd, SC) 2nd litter wins big again at a specialty/AWC Supported show in Waukasha, Wisconsin.  Morgan was awarded a 5 point major under breeder judge Mrs. Denise Tatro, owner handled by Deana McNamer DVM.  Way to go Deana and Morgan.  

 

September 2008
September 7, 2008:

Kate (Ableaim Kiss Me Kate) is awarded Winner Bitch for 2 points, Clermont Kennel Club.  At that same show Xander (Meisterhaus Deal or No Deal) is awarded Winners Dog and Best of Winners for his first major win.

 

September 19, 2008:
Marlow, from Reese’s (Ch. Meisterhaus Goldie Hawnd) 2nd litter was awarded   Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED for a 5 point major, under Judge Mr. Cliff Thompson at the Southern Specialty weekend of shows.
 

September 20, 2008:
Keely , from Reese’s (Ch. Meisterhaus Goldie Hawnd, SC) 1st litter. is awarded a very large Best of Breed under Judge Mary Beth Arthur and to make things even great, Kurt from this same litter out of Reese (Ch. Meisterhaus Goldie Hawnd) was awarded Best of Opposite.  What a weekend all of the Reese babies had this weekend in Atlanta.   Congrats to Donna (Keely’s Owner), Linda (Kurt’s Owner and Co-Breeder), Gail and Jenny (Co-Breeders)   We were sorry that we missed this show, but so proud of the babies.  Congrats guys on a great specialty weekend.

  

September 20, 2008:
Dara (Meisterhaus Dazzle ‘N’ Daze) was awarded Winners Bitch and an Award of Merit at the Basenji Club of America National Specialty, under Breeder Judge Mr. Jon Curby.  On that same day, Garbo (Wazin Red Empress) won her class.  We are so proud of our Tre (Am/Dan/Swed Ch. Meisterhaus Tail Of Intrigue)  daughters and their great showing at the BCOA National.

 

October 2008
October 4, 2008:
Kitty finished her AKC Field Championship/Dual Championship by winning her third 5 point major!  Kitty is now the second Dual Champion from her litter!  Kitty is also an ASFA Best In Field Winner!

 

October 18, 2008:
Kate is awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners, under Mrs. Lesley Hiltz at the Sandemac Kennel Club.

 

October 30, 2008:
Garbo goes Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best in Specialty, from the 9-12 Puppy Class, at the Indian Nations Basenji Club Specialty; breeder judge Mrs. Judy Webb.   At that same specialty Dara (Meisterhaus Dazzle ‘N’ Daze) is awarded Best in Sweeps and Ezra (Meisterhaus Samburu Extra Extra) is awarded Best of Opposite, Sweeps.
 

 

November 2008
November 1, 20008:
Kitty was 1st in Open, Best of Breed and Best in Field!!!  Again, way to go Chuck Boyd and Miss Kitty.   We are so happy and proud of you both.

 

November 16, 2008:
Ezra (Meisterhaus Samburu Extra Extra) is awarded Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 4 point major and Whisper (New Ch. Meisterhaus Watchemstopnstare) win Winners Bitch for a 4 point major to finish her championship, from the Bred By Exhibitor Class.
